What counts as a query per second (QPS)?
QPS includes all read and write operations: SQL queries, key-value operations, vector searches, graph traversals, etc. Batch operations count as one query.
Can I mix different data models in one query?
Yes! entropyDB supports cross-model joins. For example, you can join vector search results with relational metadata in a single SQL query.
How does storage tiering work?
Data automatically moves between hot (NVMe), warm (SSD), and cold (object storage) tiers based on access patterns. You can query data in any tier transparently.
What regions are supported?
We support AWS, GCP, and Azure in all major regions. Multi-region replication is available on Business and Enterprise plans.
Can I self-host entropyDB?
Yes! We provide a Kubernetes operator for self-hosted deployments. Enterprise licenses include full source access and professional services.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
We'll notify you before hitting limits. You can upgrade your plan or add capacity on-demand. We never throttle without warning.
